Buying the device is the easy part. We handle the tricky bit: safe wiring (including the C-wire a smart thermostat needs), mounting, app setup and a working demo before we leave.
Smart devices promise five-minute installs and rarely deliver. Smart thermostats often need a C-wire your old wiring doesn't have; video doorbells need the right transformer voltage; and every device has to be paired, updated and connected to the right network. A botched thermostat install can even leave your furnace or A/C not working.
Our builder-trained technicians install the hardware safely, solve the wiring gotchas, and don't leave until the app works and you've seen it in action. For anything beyond a handyman's scope we'll tell you and refer a licensed electrician — electrical work in Ontario is regulated by the Electrical Safety Authority.

Most smart thermostat installs fit the 1-hour ($150) flat rate. If your system needs a C-wire adapter or extra troubleshooting it may move to the 2-hour ($255) rate — we'll confirm first.
Yes. We wire it to your existing chime and transformer where possible, mount it at the right height and angle, and set up the app so notifications work.
We diagnose it on-site. Many issues (like a missing C-wire) have a clean solution; for anything needing a licensed electrician we'll tell you honestly and can refer one.
Yes — installation includes connecting the device to your network, updating firmware, and a quick walkthrough.
