BuildMan was founded in Toronto in 1999 as a full-service custom home builder. For over two decades we built homes from foundation to finishing trim, ran general contracting on multi-million-dollar renovations, and earned a reputation across York Region and the GTA for quality work and straight talk.
Then we kept getting the same call from happy clients: "My faucet's leaking — can your guys come fix it?" Most handymen are jacks of all trades, masters of none. Our clients didn't want a generalist. They wanted a builder who could just fix it right the first time.
So in 2024 we launched BuildMan Handyman: same crew, same standards, scaled down to small-job pricing. Same-day. Flat rate. Clean, fast, and good — the way we'd do it in our own homes.
